About Us
Welcome to Elimhouse Community Association Southwark (ECAS). ECAS is a community organisation and registered charity. The organisation provides social welfare services as in day care and leisure time activities tackling isolation and supporting health care and well-being amongst older people. ECAS runs a full time Day Centre for older people which also further its charitable objects. The Day Centre is a vibrant and exciting place where older people received day care and participate in leisure time activities. The Centre provides staff and volunteer to encourage, support and ensure all Centre Users needs are valued and cared for. Whereas the Centre provides services are a reflection Caribbean cultures, its Centre Users are very diverse and a reflection of the local community. Together the Centre Users celebrate and enjoy their time in the Centre in a welcoming, safe and environment with caring and dedicated staff and volunteers on hand providing day care and support throughout the day.
Our Mission
At Elim House Day Centre mission is to ensure older people having access to services and activities which ensure they enjoy adequate Quality of Life, Day Care and Well-Being in their later years. We give particular attention to individual day care needs, ensuring that they can thrive and enjoy their golden years with dignity and joy. We fosters a sense of community, ensures older people engages with the local community and promoting overall well-being for our Centre Users. At Elim House Day Centre we encourage and welcome the involvement and participation of Carers and family members.
